Our Seniors Festival 2025 is officially underway, with today's launch and expo at the Joyce Wheatley Centre.
The expo was a chance for our diverse range of organisations and services to show our seniors the amazing array of options open to them to enjoy an active lifestyle in our community.
Missed the expo? Fear not, there's still plenty left to do during the festival.
Our headline event is the bush dance at the Jamberoo School of Arts on Friday 14 March (10.30am to 12.30pm).
You're invited to 'Waltz your Matilda' to jolly tunes provided by the fantastic Cord-eaux Folk Band, or better yet, bring your washboard and join on in!
If you're not the dancing kind, you can still enjoy the music, games, prizes, mocktails and delicious morning tea.
There's a free bus from Kiama to Jamberoo (and back again).
If you're more artistically minded there's a Mini Art Retreat at Minnamurra Rainforest on Tuesday 11 March.
Also on offer are Tech Savvy Classes for Seniors (6, 13 and 20 March) at Kiama Library where you can build confidence in using technology with hands-on learning.
