SENTRAL Youth Service is celebrating a standout summer, with their summer school holiday program breaking records with over 60 families registering their children's interest in participating in activities in January.

Our young people enjoyed attending Jamberoo Recreation Park, Flip Out, a Dungeons and Dragons workshop, a fishing day and was capped off with SENTRAL Sounds, promoting youth music, in Hindmarsh Park.

This milestone highlights the growing popularity and appeal of the service, known for its inclusive, safe, and youth-focused environment.

SENTRAL's team is already looking forward to building on this success with an exciting autumn school holiday program in the works.

Drop-In expands operating days

With the start of the school year just around the corner, SENTRAL's Drop-In will reopen from Monday 3 February, offering more opportunities for connection and engagement. Previously run on Mondays, the program will now also operate on Tuesdays. New Drop-In hours are:

Monday 2PM – 5:30PM

Tuesday 3PM – 5:30PM

The Drop-In program is free and open to all young people from Year 7 to 12.

It provides a welcoming and inclusive space featuring entertainment consoles, a multi-purpose pool, air hockey and table tennis table, an outdoor area, free food and a chilled atmosphere for relaxation and socialising.

We are back at Kiama High School

SENTRAL's youth workers will return to Kiama High School to support the new Year 7 cohort and reconnect with other students, ensuring a strong presence for guidance and encouragement during the school term.
