Series Of Offences Across Melbourne

Police are investigating a series of offences in South Melbourne, Albion and the CBD in March.

Investigators are wanting to identify a man and woman believed to be involved in three separate incidents.

It is understood a vehicle, which was parked on Bank Street in South Melbourne, was stolen sometime between 10.20pm on 22 March and 7.15am on 23 March.

During the second incident, police were told the pair, who were naked from the waist down, broke into a baseball club on Talmage Street in Albion about 2.30am on 29 March.

The male assists the female bending a gate back and she enters the building while he returns to the stolen car.

He returns a short time later, clothed with his face covered, and also gains access to the building via the bent gate.

Around 2.40am the male walks back to the car before spraying the CCTV with a liquid to blur it.

He then gains access back into the building before both of them leave via the bent gate about 2.50am with the male holding what appears to be a crowbar.

The male re-enters the building at 3am.

The third incident was a report of a man driving a vehicle erratically in the CBD and North Melbourne area on 29 March just after 11am.

At around 11.20am police located the stolen vehicle dumped in Harris Street North Melbourne.

A large amount of property believed to be stolen from the baseball club was located in the vehicle.

Police have released CCTV and images of a male and female they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The male is described as having a solid build, aged in his 30s, approximately 183cm tall, red hair and red beard, tattoos on right leg, wearing a black and white Carre bandana football jersey and white Nike sneakers.

The female is described as having a slim/medium build, aged in her 30s, blonde hair, tattoos on her left leg and was wearing a grey zip up hoodie.
