A man has been arrested over a serious domestic assault on the Yorke Peninsula yesterday.
Police were alerted to the incident about 12.30pm on Monday 26 July after a 37-year-old woman was transported by paramedics to the Wallaroo Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life threatening head injuries.
Port Pirie CIB Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault.
A 58-year-old man from the Yorke Peninsula, has been charged with assault causing serious harm. He has been refused bail and is expected to appear in the Kadina Magistrates Court later today.
