The Princes Highway has been closed to all traffic between Woods Well and Kingston SE following a head-on crash in the Coorong.
Just after 1.30pm on Friday 28 December, two cars collided just south of Woods Well about 45kms south of Meningie in the State's south-east.
An elderly woman who was the sole occupant of one of the vehicles is being airlifted to Adelaide in a critical condition.
Two adults in the other vehicle received minor injuries, while three children travelling in the same car were uninjured.
The Princes Highway is closed for northbound vehicle at Kingston SE while traffic south bound is being diverted just before Woods Well.
