Serious Crash Elizabeth South

A man is in hospital following a serious crash at Elizabeth South this morning.

Just after 2am Tuesday 11 March emergency services were called to Bayer Road after a Ford Falcon that had been travelling north lost control and crashed into a tree.

The passenger, a 21-year-old woman, managed to escape with minor injuries, however the driver, a 52-year-old Salisbury man was pinned in the driver's seat as the car caught fire.

Quick moving MFS crews freed the man who was taken to hospital in a critical but stable condition.
