Police are investigating an incident at Elizabeth Downs this morning which left a teenager in a critical condition.
Just after midnight, Saturday 7 January, emergency services were called to Campbell Road after a teenager fell from the back of a car that had been travelling at low speeds.
The 17-year-old Elizabeth South boy was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police spoke to the driver and passenger of the car, both 17-year-olds who are known to the victim, before Major Crash Investigators attended the scene to assist.
The involved vehicle was towed from the scene and police are investigating.
