Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash at Burdett near Murray Bridge, according to SA Police.
About 6pm police and ambulance crews responded to reports that a car had hit a tree on the Karoonda Highway.
The driver, sole occupant of the car, sustained serious injuries and has been air lifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
The Karoonda Highway is closed between Bowhill and Boundary Road’s and motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
Major Crash Investigators are attending the scene.
