Two women have been airlifted to hospital following a head-on crash north of Balaklava today, according to SA Police.
Police and emergency services were called to Old Boundary Road at Watchman just after 5pm on Tuesday 3 January after two cars collided head on.
A 58-year-old woman from the mid-north who was the sole occupant of one car, was seriously injured and flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.
The second driver and sole occupant, a 35-year-old woman from the mid-north, was also flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital however her injuries are not considered life threatening.
Major Crash Investigators are attending the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
