Police are currently on scene at a serious crash in Sydney's west.
About 2.40pm today (Monday 17 March 2025), emergency services responded to reports of a head on crash involving four vehicles along the M4 Motorway, Eastern Creek, near Reservoir Road.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated two of the drivers – a man and a woman both in their 30's – at the scene.
The male driver was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition with the female driver being taken to Blacktown Hospital in a stable condition.
Two male drivers – aged 40 and 53 - from the other vehicles were conveyed to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police.
Major traffic delays are presently being experienced and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
