Police and emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash at Bowden.
About 7.50pm on Monday 19 August, police were called to Hawker Street after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The vehicle involved allegedly left the scene of the crash prior to patrols attending.
Hawker Street is closed between Drayton Street and Gibson Street.
Major Crash Investigators are attending the scene.
