Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred this afternoon in Boyland.
Initial investigations suggest that a motorcycle travelling on Boyland Road and a car travelling on Beaudesert Nerang Road collided at the intersection at 5.50pm.
The male rider of the motorcycle was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
