Police are investigating a serious, single vehicle traffic crash which occurred in Gayndah overnight, Queensland Police say.
At around 1am, a member of the public located a vehicle in bushland off Gayndah Mundubbera Road, approximately 10 kilometres west of Gayndah.
Emergency services attended the scene where they extracted the driver from the vehicle.
The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, aged in her 30s, was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment to significant head injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
