Serious Traffic Crash in Morayfield: Police Respond

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious two-vehicle traffic crash at Morayfield on Monday, July 8.

Initial investigations indicate just after 3pm, a black Holden Commodore station wagon was travelling north-east along Graham Road when it crossed onto the opposite side of the road and stuck a truck near Alexander Crescent.

The driver of the Holden, a man in his 20s, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The truck driver, a 24-year-old Daguilar man, was not physically injured, and is continuing to assist police with enquiries.

Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with relevant vision to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.

The Queensland Police Service is committed to reducing number of lives lost on our roads.

Data shows that serious crashes can be significantly reduced when drivers recognise and avoid the 'Fatal Five' behaviours: speeding, drink and drug driving, not wearing seatbelts, fatigue and distraction.
