Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred this morning in Yungaburra, Queensland Police say.
Around 6.05am, a car that was travelling along Lake Barrine Road when it lost control and struck and embankment.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man, suffered a broken ankle and the passenger, also a 24-year-old man, suffered serious head injuries and was transported to hospital in Cairns.
The Forensic Crash Unit have attended and are investigating.
