A woman has been critically injured following a two-vehicle crash on the state's Central Coast.
About 6.45pm yesterday (Friday 18 April 2025), emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash along Budgewoi Road, Budgewoi.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver – a 53-year-old man – and two passengers – a 47-year-old man and a woman in her 50's at the scene.
The driver was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition whilst the other man was taken by road to John Hunter Hospital with minor injuries.
The woman was airlifted to the same hospital in a critical but stable condition.
A 64-year-old woman who was the driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was also taken to John Hunter Hospital by road in a stable condition.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District established a crime scene that was later examined by police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
