Police are continuing to investigate a serious crash that occurred around 9pm last night in Riverside.
Initial investigations indicate the crash involved a green Mitsubishi Triton and a red Nissan Patrol travelling in the same direction on Eloura Street in Riverside.
Three occupants of the Mitsubishi Triton were transported to the Launceston General Hospital for treatment with a child receiving serious injuries.
The two occupants of the Nissan Patrol did not receive any injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and police would like to hear from anyone who saw either of the two vehicles prior to the crash.
