Whether you're running pace is that of a greyhound or a garden snail, or the last marathon you took part in was on Netflix, Run for The Hills at Bella Vista Farm is a run for everyone.
The event organised by the Castle Hill Rotary Club as part of the Orange Blossom Festival celebrations is an opportunity for a bit of exercise and to raise money for a great cause. All funds raised will go towards the charities Youth Off the Streets, Positive Vibes, and Youth Insearch.
Run for The Hills is a fantastic way to support your mental health and welcome the beauty of spring at the historic grounds of Bella Vista Farm. The event combines fitness, community spirit, and raising awareness for mental health.
Nik Fox from Caste Hill Rotary says Run for The Hills is for everyone.
"Whether you're an experienced runner or just looking to have a fun family morning out, this event offers something for everyone including the pooch, with 3.4km, 6.8km, and 10.2km courses. Plus, there are market stalls, face painting for the kids, coffee, and food stalls to keep the whole family entertained," he said.
Nik encourages participants to hit the ground running, even if they are a little hesitant.
"If you're hesitant, remember it's not just about the run—it's about community, fresh air, and contributing to a cause that truly matters. Think of it as more than just a run. It's your chance to lace up for a cause, breathe in the fresh morning air, and be part of something bigger than yourself," he said.
Every step is one step closer to a better future for the mental health of The Hills.
