Seven Arrested in Kingswood Fatal Stabbing

Seven people have been arrested after a man was fatally stabbed at Kingswood last night.

Emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway, near Kingswood Train Station, about 10.20pm (Tuesday 4 February 2025), after a 58-year-old man was found suffering a stab wound to his chest.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man before he was taken to Westmead Hospital, where he died.

A crime scene was established with detectives from Nepean Police Area Command commencing an investigation with the assistance of the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.

Following enquiries, six people – two girls, aged 13 and 16, three boys, two aged 15 and one aged 17, and a 19-year-old man – were arrested at homes in Werrington, South Penrith, and Penrith.

They were taken to Penrith and St Marys Police Stations.

About 1.10pm, a 15-year-old boy was arrested at St Marys Police Station, before being taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.

Inquiries are ongoing.
