Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a man in relation to an incident at a residence in a Perth metropolitan suburb on Thursday 6 February 2020, in which a woman was sexually assaulted.
It will be alleged the man attended the victim's residence for a massage appointment he had booked and that during the appointment, the man produced a knife and forced the woman to engage in sexual acts. He then threatened the woman with the knife again, demanding money from her.
An associate of the victim checked on her welfare and it will be further alleged the man held the knife against the victim's throat as he attempted to leave. After a short scuffle the man fled the scene in a vehicle.
The victim received a laceration to her face requiring medical treatment.
