A Queensland man is still coming to terms with his $2 million win in Saturday’s Gold Lotto, days after discovering he held one of ten Division One winning tickets in Draw 4515 on 26 October 2024.
The Maryborough resident, who purchased a 10-game QuickPick entry, admitted he feels as though he’s “still pinching himself” and struggling to believe his life-changing fortune is real.
“It’s so exciting,” he shared.
“I tend to dribble into Saturday Gold Lotto because the game has way better odds. I always go for a QuickPick, and hope for the best!
“I haven’t had much time to process. I’m still so shocked by it all.
“There’s a lot of disbelief to whether I have actually taken home $2 million.
“Once I get out of the shock, I think I’ll be able to comprehend it more.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his $2 million bounty, the winning man shared he couldn’t wait to lend a helping hand to his nearest and dearest.
“I’ll be sharing around with the family, and helping them out with my win,” he said.
“Thank you so very much!”
His 10-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4515 on 26 October 2024 were 42, 35, 1, 43, 25 and 29, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 31.
Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4515 – four in New South Wales, three in Queensland, two in Western Australia and one in Victoria.
