Shellharbour City Council is excited to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced café operator/s to manage up to two café locations within the Shellharbour area.
We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified operators who can bring their expertise and passion for hospitality to either the Civic Square Café in Shellharbour City Centre and/or the Shellharbour Airport Café.
The Civic Square Cafe is situated prominently at the main entrance to Shellharbour City Council's Civic Centre. As well as being the location of a popular library, museum and the home of Council's administration centre, the Civic Centre is also a popular venue for various events and attracts a steady stream of visitors who utilise its services and spaces.
Additionally, through its proximity to local businesses and Stockland Shellharbour, the café benefits from a constant flow of potential customers.
The Airport Café is located within the award-winning Shellharbour Airport's terminal building and primarily services airport customers. The successful operator of this site will have the opportunity to utilise the commercial kitchen located within the cafe and be innovative in their vision for the space.
One operator for both cafes is preferred, however, individual proposals for each cafe will be considered.
Shellharbour City Council is aiming to enhance the community experience by offering high-quality food and beverage services in these key locations. We are looking for operators who are experienced, adaptable and highly motivated, with a proactive approach to daily operations and customer engagement.
