You've been saving up your soft plastics, and now is the time to bring them to Shellharbour's second soft plastic drop off on Sunday 23 February.
The second initiative, which will be held from 9am-3pm at Albion Oval carpark, Ash Ave, Albion Park Rail, follows the success of the first drop off. Fifty-seven people attended the first event in November 2024, where 117kgs - or 18 large wheelie bins - of soft plastics were collected.

This time round, Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said he expected the event to be even more popular.
"We had a great response to the first soft plastic recycling drop off," Mayor Homer said. "Council and the city of Shellharbour are committed to becoming a more environmentally friendly community. This free service is a great example of Council leading the way in creating a better future for all."
