Greater Shepparton City Council's Flood Recovery team Resilience and Recovery, is excited to invite the Greater Shepparton community to attend 'Beyond the Game', a powerful panel discussion about sport, inclusion, and disaster recovery.

Featuring an esteemed line-up of speakers, Beyond the Game will delve into critical themes surrounding resilience, inclusiveness, and the transformative role of sport in challenging times. The panel includes:

The event will be hosted by Tones, a proud Shepparton young person and entrepreneur.
Through engaging discussions, the panellists will explore topics such as breaking barriers in sport, the role of community in shaping athletes, preparedness and planning, and fostering inclusion. David Younger will provide a unique perspective, connecting these themes to the broader context of disaster recovery and community resilience.
Council's Director Community, Louise Mitchell, highlighted the importance of sport in helping to bring the community together to overcome adversity.
