Shoalhaven Water Names Acting Directors

Senior managers at Shoalhaven Water will step into the acting director role following the retirement of Rob Horner after 29 years with Council's water utility.

Matthew Kidd, Manager Water Asset Planning and Development; Brenden Logue, Manager Water Business Services; and Andrew McVey, Manager Water Operations and Maintenance will each rotate into the role over the coming months as the organisation looks to recruit for the director position.

Shoalhaven City Council Acting CEO, James Ruprai said the three senior leaders would bring a wealth of industry experience to the acting role, with a combined tenure of more than 40 years with Shoalhaven Water.

"Shoalhaven Water has a strong culture of mentorship and career progression which means we have capable senior leaders ready to step up when the opportunity arises," Mr Ruprai said.

"Under the short-term leadership of Matt, Andrew and Brenden, Shoalhaven Water will continue to deliver the high-quality water and wastewater services the community has come to expect," he said.

Recruitment for the executive position of Director, Shoalhaven Water will begin in February and is expected to take several months to fill.
