Clay target shooters from across the country are heading to Darwin for the NT 4 Day Trap Championships later this month.
With a prize pool of more than $200,000 and the opportunity for Territory shooters to gain a coveted spot to represent the NT at the Nationals, competition is expected to be fierce.
The annual "4 Day" Clay Target hosted by Darwin Clay Target Club has been running for 39 years and is held over the Royal Darwin Show weekend.
This event is exclusive to shooters who are members of the Australian Clay Target Association or possess an affiliation, however entry for spectators is free. Spectators will be able to see the thrilling displays of skill and precision showcased by the participating shooters.
The NT 4 Day Trap Championships will take place at the Darwin Clay Target Club, Marrara from Thursday 25 July to Sunday 28 July 2024.
The event is supported by the Northern Territory Government through Northern Territory Major Events Company's (NTMEC) Event Funding Program.
