Shooting incident in Boronia Heights, QLD

Detectives from the Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a third man following investigations into a shooting incident at a Wilston Crescent residential address in Boronia Heights on November 24, 2016, Queensland Police say.

A 41-year-old Greenbank man received multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and back during the incident and received medical treatment at the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital.

Detectives charged a 34-year-old Edens Landing man on December 13 last year and a 29-year-old Brisbane man on January 4 in relation to the incident.

A 33-year-old Arundel man was today charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, unlawful possession of weapons and dangerous conduct with a weapon.

He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow.
