Raptor Squad officers have seized a loaded shotgun found in a pizza oven following a search at a Moorebank home last week under Strike Force Allister.
In December 2023, officers attached to State Crime Command's Raptor Squad established Strike Force Allister to investigate criminal gang activities.
Following investigations, strike force officers executed a crime scene warrant at a Moorebank home on Friday 16 August 2024.
During the search officers found evidence that a firearm had been discharged several times inside the home and located a bag containing a sawn-off shotgun in a pizza oven.
The firearm was seized for forensic examination.
Investigations under Strike Force Allister continue.
