The United States and Singapore have enjoyed a cooperative, fruitful, and constructive relationship for nearly six decades. Our relationship is based on our shared interests and shared vision of a free, open, secure, and resilient Indo-Pacific region and world. It has been deepened by strong defense and economic ties, people-to-people relationships, and common respect for diversity and the rule of law.
