Six Arrested for Trespass, Graffiti in Sydney's Inner West

Six men are due in court this morning charged after being arrested in Sydney's Inner West early this morning.

Police were called to St Peters Train Station about 12.30am (Saturday 15 February 2025), after people were seen in the rail corridor.

Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command arrived and saw a group allegedly graffitiing rail property.

The group allegedly ran into a property on Sydney Park Road, Erskineville, and assistance was sought from the police airwing, PolAir, as well as the Police Dog Unit.

A short time later, six men – aged 21, 24, 28, 29, 31, and 36 – were arrested. They were taken to Newtown Police Station where they have been charged.

• A 21-year-old man from Williamstown, Victoria, has been charged with three offences; enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, destroy/damage property in company, and possess graffiti implement with intent to contravene s 4(2).

• A 24-year-old man from Caulfield North, Victoria, has been charged with two offences; enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, and destroy/damage property in company.

• A 28-year-old man from Williamtown, Victoria, has been charged with one offence; enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse.

A 29-year-old man from Nambucca Heads, has been charged with two offences; enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, and destroy/damage property in company.

• A 31-year-old man from Pottsville, has been charged with two offences; enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, and destroy/damage property in company.

• A 36-year-old man from Pottsville, has been charged with three offences; enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, and destroy/damage property in company; and possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance.

All have been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 15 February 2025).
