Ottawa, Ontario
The Ottawa region is home to some of the best tech talent thanks to its diverse businesses and industry-leading research and development. Capitalizing on ideas, innovations, and hard work is an essential way to ensure Canadian businesses are at the forefront of the world's advanced economies and continue to bring new critical solutions to market, especially in the growing AI sector.
Today, the Honourable Jenna Sudds, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Member of Parliament for Kanata-Carleton, along with Yasir Naqvi, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre, visited Ranovus Inc., a tech company that develops advanced solutions to support next-generation AI within data centres and communication networks.
Minister Sudds and MP Naqvi also met with five other leading Ottawa region tech and AI companies: Armstrong Monitoring Corp., Larus Technologies Corporation, ThinkRF Corp., TryCycle Data Systems Inc., and TutorOcean Inc. to learn about how they are scaling up to offer more innovative, digital solutions to Canadians and abroad. This includes growing the critical AI sector and addressing gaps in the educational, mental health, semi-conductor, business advisory, digital sensor and wireless industries for generations to come.
