Organised Crime Squad detectives have arrested a sixth man over an alleged murder plot under Strike Force Barralier.
Strike Force Barralier was established in December 2023 by State Crime Command's Organised Crime Squad to investigate an alleged conspiracy to murder a man residing in the Sydney metropolitan area.
Investigations identified a group of men as allegedly being involved in a plot to murder the 30-year-old.
Five have already been charged and remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, about 7.35am today (Thursday 9 January 2025), strike force detectives arrested a 32-year-old man during a vehicle stop in Miranda.
A search warrant is underway at a home in the Sutherland Shire area.
He was taken to Sutherland Police Station, where inquiries continue.
