Small Gods of Forest Interpretive Art Display at Library

Lithgow Council

Lithgow Library is thrilled to be hosting the "Small Gods of the Forest" exhibition from the private collection of retired wood worker Ken Wilson from 1 June until 30 July 2022.

A Lithgow local, Ken has embraced the naturally occurring shapes embedded into the grain of wood. Created from Tasmanian Huon Pine and Blackheart Sassafras hardwood, Ken brings the works to life by applying varnish and oil.

This very interpretive display of wood on veneer board can be viewed at the Lithgow Library during opening hours and will provide a challenge to viewers. Come along and see what you can find hidden within the wood.
