Sound Investment For Myall Coast Radio

NSW Nationals

Nationals Member for Myall Lakes, Tanya Thompson, has announced a $5,000 NSW Government grant that will deliver studio soundproofing and signage mounting for Myall Coast Radio Inc.

Mrs Thompson said the funding was allocated under the Community Building Partnership Program.

"This funding is fantastic news for the community radio volunteers who need their studio soundproofed and signage installed to promote their station," said Mrs Thompson.

"It's wonderful to see the Bulahdelah studio, originally funded by a Community Building Partnership Grant three years ago, now thriving as a valuable community asset."

Myall Coast Radio Secretary, Cath Pickard, said, "We would like to thank this program for the funding that will allow us to continue and expand our offerings."

"It is much appreciated by Myall Coast Radio."

The NSW Government's Community Building Partnership Program has funded more than 19,700 community projects since it commenced in 2009.
