There is one new case of COVID-19 today. There has been a total of 910 cases notified in South Australia.
Today's case is a Victorian commercial transport worker his 20s who tested positive at the Yamba testing site. He was travelling through South Australia to Western Australia but is now being escorted back to Adelaide by SAPOL to quarantine in a medi-hotel. The investigation is underway, however currently no public exposure sites have been identified.
A Victorian flight attendant in his 40s has tested positive in Victoria. The case worked on flight VA219, travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide on 4 October, while he was infectious.
SA Health has the manifest for the flight and all 25 passengers have received an SMS. We are in the process of calling all individuals to determine their place of quarantine and review testing results. Given the flight was travelling from Victoria, all passengers were required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival. The case did not enter Adelaide Airport and no further exposure locations will be listed.
