Tickets are now on sale for the Feast at the Quarry, which will bring world-class fine dining experiences back to Wellington National Park on 14 and 15 October with support from the Cook Government.
Two events will be served up this year, after the sold-out Kaya Collie Quarry Dining Experience in 2022 demonstrated an appetite for future foodie offerings.
On Saturday, 14 October, The Quarry's Table A Fine Dining Experience will be held at The Quarry picnicking spot near Wellington Dam.
The elegant event will present a four course culinary journey of Japanese-fusion influence, with live music from Adam Hall and The Velvet Playboys.
The festivities will continue on Sunday, 15 October with the Lunch at the Quarry Experience dishing up a cocktail-style event and musical line-up of Chaos & Harmony, Kate Hindle, and Scarlet's Way.
Menus will be curated by accomplished London-based chef and restaurateur Scott Hallsworth, who hails from Collie. He is famed for having been a head chef at a Nobu restaurant in London, and is currently operating Asian fusion restaurant The Freak Scene.
In the lead-up to the Feast at the Quarry weekend, an online auction will be live with a number of prizes up for grabs, including a private dining experience with Hallsworth. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Telethon.
A total of $100,000 from the Cook Government's Collie Futures Fund, through the South West Development Commission, is supporting the Shire of Collie to bring the Feast at the Quarry back to Collie over two years in 2023 and 2024.
The funding is part of a commitment to diversify Collie's economy, part of which includes unlocking the tourism potential of the South West town by delivering new attractions and experiences that drive visitation and boost the local economy.
