Spend to Win on Parade this Christmas

Visitors to The Parade are encouraged to 'Spend to Win' in the lead up to Christmas and be in the running to win a wide range of prizes.

Mayor Robert Bria said The Parade – Adelaide's premier main street - was the ideal location to celebrate and prepare for the festive season.

"The Parade is thriving and full of shoppers, diners and other visitors and I encourage everyone to take part in this competition," Mayor Bria said.

"From luxurious gifts, to stunning summer fashion, and premium local produce, The Parade offers the ultimate Christmas shopping experience," he said.

"By shopping and spending in the precinct, visitors could win $5,000 to spend at local businesses, $5,000 towards a holiday of their choice or $5,000 towards an e-bike.

"With the borders now open, the competition is a great way to give people a chance to go on that dream holiday and also support the travel industry.

"By creating incentives such as the Spend to Win competition, the Council is ensuring that The Parade retains its reputation as Adelaide's premier main street destination. We are doing this by encouraging new and traditional shoppers to visit as many businesses as possible.

"The Council is always looking at strategic initiatives that deliver results for the business community, which in turn improves the local economy."

To be in the draw, shoppers must spend $25 or more at any Parade Precinct Business between 9am on 20 November and 11:59pm on 23 December and enter online.

The competition winners will be drawn at midday on Friday 24 December 2021.
