Splash Of Colour In Richmond

Picture of the banners lining Windsor Street, RichmondStreet banners will now line Windsor Street in Richmond, further adding to the colour and amenity of the town centre following recent street works.

The new banners, between East Market Street and Bosworth Street, will promote major local events such as Savour the Flavour Hawkesbury, and other relevant initiatives. This is similar to the banners in George Street, Windsor.

Council is committed to improving the amenity of our major town centres and encouraging visitors to remain longer, boosting economic activity for local businesses.

Recent street works in Richmond were completed thanks to Liveability project funding from the state and federal governments, and Greening our City funding from the state government. These works included new paving, street furniture, and the planting of mature trees to add shade and combat urban heat.

New wayfinding signage was also recently installed to help visitors navigate the historic town centre.
