Sport Minister Anika Wells leaves today to undertake diplomatic discussions at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, including addressing the UNESCO Change the Game sport conference on the economic and social benefits our investments in women's sport have delivered.

Minister Wells is travelling to Paris and Marseille from 22 to 28 July 2024 and will be supporting our athletes and gathering key intel to inform the planning and delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Games.

The Olympics are an important opportunity to engage with key international sporting bodies, including the International Olympic Committee and experienced officials ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brisbane.

The Minister will then take part in the Australian Olympic Flag Bearers announcement, attend the Opening Ceremony and sporting events.
