Stabbing At Campbelltown

A man has been arrested after a stabbing at Campbelltown.

At 6.20pm on Wednesday 28 August, Police and emergency services responded to reports of a violent disturbance at a Cedar Avenue home.

Attending crews located a man with stab injuries outside the home.

The victim, a 34-year-old man from Campbelltown, was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

An 18-year-old Windsor Gardens man was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

Eastern District CIB detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the assault. The two men are known to each other, and this was not a random incident.
