A man has been arrested following a stabbing at Elizabeth Downs tonight.
Police were called to a tavern on Midway Road at 7.40pm on Sunday 6 September after reports that a fight was taking place in the front bar.
A 28-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his abdomen and a 26-year-old man received a stab wound to his face and arm. Both victims from Elizabeth Park are being treated at the Royal Adelaide Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A 21-year-old man from Elizabeth Park was arrested without incident about one hour later when he returned to the tavern. He will be charged with two counts of aggravated assault cause harm and he is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 7 September).
