Public consultation on the draft State Public Health Plan 2025-2030 (the draft SPHP) is now open.
The draft SPHP offers a strategic framework to enhance the health and wellbeing of Western Australians and guide organisations to integrate public health perspectives into their planning.
Public health planning is an important function across government and complements other local government planning areas such as asset management and emergency services. It facilitates on-going assessment of public health needs by government, addresses gaps and priorities, and fosters partnerships across government, non-government organisations (NGOs) and the community to promote collaboration and innovation.
Provide your feedback via the public consultation survey by 21 February 2025.
The results of the survey will be used to evaluate draft SPHP to ensure it provides a clear framework to improve the health and wellbeing of Western Australians.
