The Management of MON Natural Foods Pty Ltd wishes to express our heartfelt condolences to the family of one of our employees who has tragically lost his life during an incident at a food processing plant at Barooga in the Riverina today.
The 57-year-old man has been a popular, and valuable employee of our Company.
The plant has been temporarily shut-down whilst Police and Safe Work conduct on-site investigations.
We have all been deeply affected by this tragedy, especially so close to Christmas.
Our staff have also been sent home and counselling has been offered to them during an extremely difficult period for the Company.
As a family-operated Company, our number one priority is the safety and well-being of all of our staff and contractors.
The Company is assisting with Police and Safe Work with their inquiries.
