Today's vote by Victoria Police officers sends a very clear message to the Allan Labor Government - they are sick of being disrespected and it is time the government listens to their needs and fills the current thousand vacancies to reduce the workloads for officers.
The Allan Labor Government's major project blowouts and financial mismanagement means the EBAs being offered across the public sector are not addressing the core issues of staff shortages and are instead increasing stress on emergency services.
The Allan Labor Government must come to the table and support Victoria Police officers in their role keeping Victorians safe.
