A University of Queensland STEM education program is one step closer to winning a Science Breakthrough of the Year category in the Falling Walls Global Call 2024.
The Wonder of Science program is one of 20 initiatives selected to compete for the global title in science engagement at the annual Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin this November.
Led by Dr Kaylene Cooper, Wonder of Science brings together industry, government and universities to deliver STEM education programs to thousands of Queensland students.
Falling Walls identifies scientific breakthroughs for humankind from academia around the world.
This year's initiatives range from STEM education, MedTech to space technology and for the first time in 2024, initiatives need to address sustainability, innovation or climate change.
