Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability (ADS), Mallory Stewart, will travel to Omaha, Nebraska, August 13-14, 2024, to attend the 2024 United States Strategic Command (STRATCOM) Deterrence Symposium.
The STRATCOM Deterrence Symposium is a premier annual event that brings together the nation's academic, military, and political leaders focused on deterrence, as well as international allies and partners, to engage in high-level discussions on strategic challenges. During this year's symposium, Assistant Secretary Stewart will discuss the role of arms control in supporting U.S. deterrence policy and strategy.
