Stolen car crashes at Edwardstown, South Australia

Police have released CCTV and are appealing for witnesses after a stolen car crashed at Edwardstown last night.

About 4.35pm on Wednesday 25 August police responded to reports of Peugot crashing into a stobie pole and three people running from the car. All three people were wearing dark clothing and the front passenger was carrying a white bag.

Checks revealed the car had been stolen from Oaklands Park on Monday 23 August.

The Peugot sustained substantial damage and was towed from the scene.

Patrols searched the area but no one was located.
