Three people have been arrested after a stolen crashed at Wingfield overnight.
Just after midnight on Saturday 17 April, patrols spotted a stolen Toyota sedan with three occupants travelling east along Grand Junction Road at Rosewater.
The stolen car was immediately followed from the air by PolAir as it travelled through a number of suburbs towards North Adelaide where patrols deployed spikes at the intersection of Mills and Hill Streets.
The driver then hit a parked police vehicle as he attempted to avoid the spikes before driving off.
PolAir continued to follow the car as it travelled towards the Port River Expressway where police again deployed road spikes again. The driver left the road to avoid the spikes and hit a street sign before running off.
The two passengers remained in the car and the driver was arrested a short distance away after he was seen climbing into an industrial bin. All three occupants were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
