Stolen Vehicle, Dangerous Driving Charges, North Lakes

Police have charged three people after a stolen vehicle was tracked driving dangerously through southeast Queensland yesterday, April 9.

Initial investigations indicate that overnight on Monday, April 8, a 2020 BMW X5 was stolen from an Indooroopilly address.

The vehicle was able to be tracked by officers driving through North and South Brisbane yesterday morning before being tracked to Anzac Avenue, North Lakes, where three people, allegedly the occupants of the vehicle, were taken into custody around 11:45am.

A 14-year-old Bald Hills boy has been charged with enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

A 16-year-year-old Kingaroy boy has been charged with two counts of stealing, and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They were both refused police bail and are due to appear in Caboolture Childrens Court today.

A 16-year-old Morayfield girl has been charged with stealing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

She is due to appear in Caboolture Childrens Court on April 16.
