Stolen Vehicle Incident in Oxenford: Police Update

Police have charged four boys after a stolen vehicle collided with another vehicle at Oxenford in the early hours of this morning.

Around 1.40am an attempted burglary occurred at a house at Maudsland.

Shortly after this incident, the Nissan Patrol was involved in a collision with a Kia Stinger at Kopps Road at Maudsland.

The occupants of the Kia vehicle were not injured.

Police investigations indicate the Nissan Patrol was stolen from Masthead Drive in Cleveland on August 26.

A 14-year-old boy from Helensvale has been charged with attempt to enter dwelling at night, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of weapon and property suspected stolen.

A 15-year-old male from Caboolture has been charged with unlicenced driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, attempt to enter dwelling at night, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of weapon and property suspected stolen.

A 16-year-old boy from Logan Central has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of weapon and property suspected stolen.

A 16-year-old boy from Logan Reserve has been charged with attempt to enter dwelling at night, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of weapon and property suspected stolen.

All four boys were denied police bail and are due to appear in Southport Childrens Court today, August 28.
